UV Mapping Per FaceAuthor: Softimage
This script maps the whole UV(0,0)-(1,1) space to each polygon (work best with 4-sideds). Select a polygon mesh object, then run the script. A documentation sample converted by Piotrek Marczak.

Uv mapping per face

Post by SreckoM » 18 Jul 2011, 21:32

I am sure that title is greatly misleading so here it is again. I need somehow to UV map geometry so every face of it occupies 0-1 range of UV space. It will lead to overlapping but that is something I need.
Option that does this in Modo is called Barycentric, if this can help to explain better what am trying to achieve.
Is this achievable in XSI?
