Hello, i just noticed something i cant figure out how to solve.
I've setup a rbd animation and i am using the motion blur, now in the Render Manager panel i've activated the "Enable motion blur" and rendered a frame.
Then i checked the "Scene render options" for the motion blur settings and they are as follow:

Speed 0.5, Offset 0, Center on Frame, Deformation blur enabled.

Now i went back to the Render Manager panel and checked "Override scene render options" and use the same exact parameters, render it again and the motion blur is completely different.

How comes same exact parameters on different render settings produce a completely different output at the same frame?

Thanks, Max

Max,

you want to cache your simulation, and load cache back. Rendering a live simulation, that's a lottery.

ah right, always cache sims if you want to render them over the farm or want correct mb. i thought max cached it already, dont think of this as failure source anymore. ;)
