Re: cloth simulation & si 2012

1. ICE syflex. You will find basic information and an example ICE-Tree in SI Doc. 2. you can pin/nail syflex cloth to NULL's or let the cloth collide with mesh of a char for example. Re: rendering hair ..

can you post an image?

with dandelion you mean this flower where you can blow away the seems, right?

Re: MilanVasek wips

hehe, when I see your tool, im dreaming about a procedural landscape generator. a combination of your tool with something like ice tree, procedural rocks, some kinda greeble for buildings, ect. So that you can paint your house- tree- rockmaps in photoshop, run the tool and voila, a landscape appears...

Re: rendering hair ..

did you any brush action to the hair? becouse if not, i think its normal that there is some kinda "skinhead". the hair grows away to the objects normal - so if you have a sphere, there will be always a part, where you can see through :) so maybe your hair does not disapear, you only see th...

3Delight and Caustics

Hey :)

anybody managed underwater caustics with 3Delight?

Is there some attribute I have to add to the light or the water surface or ground?

Thank you,
sant0s :)

Re: Randomize Instances Seed

Hi Hirazi :) I was testing this compound, but think it is for randomizing the positions, not the topology itself. Found this thread here: http://www.si-community.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=334 and think, the only way is real copies instead of instances. On the first site at bottom is a s...
