Fabric Engine and PyQt framework
Hi guys! Over the past 18 months we've had a number of comments along the lines of "Fabric would be awesome if it wasn't in a browser, why can't you guys use Python/Qt?" So we decided it might be a smart move to do that. Helge started work on this about 3 weeks ago, so you can see how fas...

Re: boy walkcycle
I think shoulders ,if exaggerated like this , should lead the arm/elbow movement (visible in forward motion) .Kind of like a wave motion, not all at once. Arms looks stiff in the passing position, maybe there is no need for them to be so straight in elbows as it's not natural anyways. Maybe rotate ha...

Re: Exocortex Alembic released
I stand corrected.
http://www.alembic.io/updates.htmlAlembic is the computer graphics interchange format developed by the two entertainment giants last year
and focused on efficiently storing and sharing animation and visual effects scenes across multiple software applications.

If you use Max, Maya, SI for your daily work, Alembic would be quite handy to move data around.as a strictly single user I see no benefits from it personally

Re: SI Technology Previews
Ps1: Looks much better in context Bellsey, nicely done video :) Ps2: Click and drag re-ordering is great. Maybe we can see it used elsewhere in the software. I particularly would like having it on the exposed ports of compounds, as they now are a pain to reorder... Ps3: There is an easter egg... yo...

Re: SI Technology Previews
I read on some forum that Dassault wanted to buy XSI, and that it was primary reason for Autodesk to buy them, is there any truth in this? I don't know about Dassault and XSI, but I think it's irrelevant now. We can speculate and fantasize about what would happen and how XSI would be developed if i...

It's business, they care about themselves.Don't seem to me AD care about us.
On the other hand, I don't think they would develop SI further, if they didn't care about customers (ergo - themselves).
