Re: MX_Roundish Can't find it anywhere.
Hi, I also stumbled on the current poly selection, otherwise I don't know (I have yet to test your new script), but you seem to have figured it out ! And your not at all "bad" at scripting .... ( just maybe starting ? ) for me scripting is like an internet search challenge lol ( I would ha...

Re: LiDAR simulation - contraflow traffic detection
Huh! cool ! : ) and Wow --> 500fps lol Otherwise, with all the "self driving" talk, I hope "autonomous vehicles" would all be "independent" ... or would not require a net connection that would 3d scan everywhere we drive-by, to be sent to car manufacturers, and/or other...

Re: MX_Roundish Can't find it anywhere.
@FXDude, can you give example of using these code strokes in script? Espacially the JScript Hi, Heres a script I did for a thing I did way back called "cookie cutter" which would import a "mini rig" model, put it under the current selection, would then create an ice tree and app...

@McAxe huh ! I was about to suggest the same thing ! ( but didn't go as far as to making it ) and nice trick to preserve the poly selection after the delete op! ( growing the selection and saving to a temp cluster ) @Talik, If you ever want to make a script ... do the whatever you want your script t...

Re: LiDAR simulation - contraflow traffic detection
Hi! You could investigate ice raycasting, there are a number of videos from pooby, but the first one should cover the basics ... https://vimeo.com/20329976 That video was to represent scalar values on the raycasting grid based on distance, but you could cast rays from a vehicle, and with some "...

Re: Softimage Nvidia Flex
The dll libraries from 2.06 are relatively new and they don't work with PCTools. PCTools uses older dll versions. In fact, the PCTools build was just missing a few dlls. This may be because the author of PCTools had a C++ project configured so that not all the necessary libraries were in one place ...

Re: Softimage Nvidia Flex
I tried this installation method, I succeeded. I also realized that PCTools is not compatible with my Flex_To_Si_2.05 plugin, but everything works perfectly when with the flex_to_xsi_2.06 plugin version. Good to know! and maybe would it make the "skin sliding" scene work (?) it may also b...

Re: Parametric modeling (Closed linear curves for start)
But what are you looking for? Or what are you trying to do ? I need one-click solution for my modeling. Like select curves and set radius to create the polymesh. It's needed to create wires cables and other mechanical stuff. I don't use ICE. It looks too complicated for me "ICE Curve Creation&...

Re: Softimage Nvidia Flex
I install flex_to_xsi_2.06_1_17_2023.zip first using instruction in archive sorry I UNINSTALLED previous flex, and copied all files from from "Flex_To_Si_2.05.zip" ( there are more DLLs relative to "flex_to_xsi_2.06_1_17_2023.zip", if that made a difference ) to : C:\Users\User\...

Hi,
Here is a full list of all ICE compounds/nodes included in pcTools.
Needless to say that FLEX related things are only a small part of this whole incredible package
and this doesn't cover all the scripts etc !
