Re: MilanVasek wips
it seems everyone is busy thinking about future, migrating to other softwares etc. well, I love Softimage for many many reasons and will keep using it for my personal projects as long as it works (and i stopped paying subscription after 2014, so I can't imagine spending 4000 euros again anyway), at ...

Re: MilanVasek wips
Aha, but like I said: it works. Worth considering to keep some grain in? not sure, but i can try it in comp once i have final clean image rendered :) I have one more question to the planet shot :D How did you shape the landscape? By moving points/edges/polys by hand? Push on a plane and shrink the ...

Re: MilanVasek wips
oh, that's because im using very very low sampling for preview render it's really more like a sketch right now, so there was no point in rendering in nicerHirazi Blue wrote:Where did the grain (that does work in this case IMHO) in the last image come from, shading, rendering or post?

Re: Introducing Creation: Flora (and a business mode change)
i love what you did with the interface. those sliders look really intuitive... are you going to add more control of the branch shape? like f-curve or things like that? is it possible to use more points to deform a branch than 3? it would be great to be able to sketch a curve (branch) like in speedtr...
