Re: Autodesk, Pixar and Open Subdivs
Sorry, i was just kidding, but when i see all these hype techs that are never integrated in SI and how things don't have moved since 4 years, i feeling sad, BUT, i'm pretty sure maya will get it in first

Re: xsi can do this?
Hi,
i'm very interested by the technik too, but there is a way to found edges without any compound ?
It is for using it in any rendering engine, i've try to mixing differents AO + incidences + mixer without any success...
What is the tech with dual normal/invert AO ?

Re: Old Room
and light sample, 10 to 3/4 is good, i guess, maybe you can shared your FG settings.
If you render at 1000x562, the clay render should be at 10 mn max on a decent workstation

Re: Spoiler Alert: NO SPOILERS ANYMORE
it's a bug fix list... look like one guy work on it for 6 month, not more (i know what i'm talking about)
the only thing is good is the "frame object in pass list" (wanted it a lot) but, fixed in... 2 hours ?
I hope it's not a joke...

Re: Rendering Zdepth for Fusion
i use SI and fusion too, and Z depth workflow are a pain to understand, but it work. I rememeber the problem is that comp depth, if you have an exr beauty with float point, and a Zdepth in 8 bit it can make problem because Zdepth have to adapt in float, something like that What you can do, is color ...
