Re: Kristinka Hair 3.0 released
Thanks for all the feedback. I really just posted those images to point out how much I appreciate all the work Anto has put into these compounds. Sorry to de-rail the thread. I had a few people ask for a breakdown on the setup for AMD's Ruby image. I did put something together and will post a link a...

Re: Kristinka Hair 3.0 released
I wanted to share some work I completed with Kristinka, and thank you again for the latest update. It makes light work of hair / fur. Curls Advanced is working quite well for some Dreadlocks! http://www.christopher-mccabe.com/forums/005.jpg I also did some work for AMD this year. You might see Krist...

Re: timewarp syflex simulation (RESOLVED)
Okay, previous tutorial link did not work out to well. I still got jumping during the playback, and random shaping in the syflex mesh. I finally figured out to PLOT the shape of the syflex mesh, then the warp curve works fine.

timewarp syflex simulation (RESOLVED)
I am trying to get a bullet time effect with a cloth simulation. I cached the simulation out to icecache. Applied the cache to a duplicate object, then enabled warp in the mixer on the clip. I am getting horrible stepping in the animation now. I'm looking for this effect: http://lesterbanks.com/2014...

Re: Construction Worker
Thanks Daniel and Ibra,
I finally got the hair to my liking. I tweaked a few other elements and I think I have taken this as far as I can for now. All the comments helped make the final much better. Thanks!

Re: Construction Worker
I'm trying to get some radom-ness in the hair. Need to make it a little more prominent I think.
I worked the lighting and materials on just about everything. Straight render.

Re: Construction Worker
SquirrelSa: Thanks, all good suggestions. I appreciate the feedback. I am using Arnold to render, and the Andreas Bystrom's skin shader. I have been away for the holiday and just got a chance to work on this some more. I have the hair looking a little softer now, but do not have the hair line quite ...
