Re: Softimage Assigning 2 different textures randomly to foliage

The modulo is 4, so it loops from 0 to 3, but it could be any number depending on how many leaf variations you want. Make sure you set the ice tree first, and once you know that your custom integer (the self.islands in my case) is working, then you bring that into the integer attribute as it should ...

Re: Softimage Assigning 2 different textures randomly to foliage

I love what you're doing here, feels like Lagoa but with an extra speed boost! I would definitely be interested in taking the beta for a spin when you get to that stage. ^:)^

Re: prt reader in ice?

Ah no, I did mean 2018.2 - went back into maya to mesh and export the alembic, which I couldn't do in 2016.5... Feels a bit dirty admitting that!

Re: prt reader in ice?

Thanks for the offer Oliver! I think we're ok, moved up to 2018.2 and could get an alembic out which will do the job for now.

I couldn't get any of Eric's lovely tools to install on centos7 sadly :( But thanks for the suggestion. I wish they ran Houdini here too.

prt reader in ice?

Just wondering if there is any way to do this - have a prt sequence created from a bifrost sim, and wanted to bring it into ice to modify and render.

:-?
