Re: DEMO: Sketch-Based Generation and Editing of Quad Meshes

Not working here, Win XP Pro SP3 (32-bit) with vcredist 2013 and zenity-2.28.0_win32-3 installed. I didn't install the SDK since I figured it isn't required to use the binaries. Error when launching the win32 version of SketchRetopo.exe: SketchRetopo.exe is not a valid Win32 application. Dependency ...

Re: Precise threaded parts

I stumbled across this:
http://www.mcmaster.com/

Choose the type of bolt/nut (diameter, thread-pitch, length, etc) you want then download the available CAD model from the product detail page.

The 3d formats are:
  • EDRW
    IGES
    PDF
    SAT
    Solidworks (*.SLDPRT)
    STEP

Re: Creating Statues with Poses

You could use 'Grow Rig', the free fully functional precursor to 'Species'.

Re: Camera to view polygon planar

ArchTools by redmotion has a 'Fixed Polygon Camera' tool that can do that.

Re: This is my personal migration software ;)

It looks like the splash screen and 'About' dialog bitmaps are stored in suminfo.dll
Still no luck with the title bar text though, unless I overlooked it. Luc-Eric probably knows where all of this stuff is by heart. :-?

This looks like bitmap 310 in the toolbar.dll when viewed with Resource Hacker. I'm looking through Mod Tool 7.5 files but they should be mostly the same. I'm still searching for the title bar text.

Re: Is there a version of GEAR that works with Mod Tool?

I think it was developed to work with Softimage 2010 or later and may require those versions for it to be fully functional. It is open source, so I see no reason why someone with the knowledge couldn't make it compatible with Mod Tool 7.5 if the interest or incentive was there. :ympray:

I'm using Chrome and experiencing the same problems already mentioned with the subsilver2 theme, subsilver_black is working fine though.
