Re: Deformation on lower jaw rig
no one knows how to recreate a similar rig in xsi? i can't believe that xsi artists are not able to make the tasks that maya artists do...honestly...

Re: adding controller after rigging
Actually i did the usual process, taking a null added in the hierarchy and add it as local refinement in the envelope, but for some reasons the mesh doesnt deform according the new deformer for some reasons..

Hello
tried on 2014, but init ice node stays red and doesnt work, used polymesh both as deformed mesh and deformer.

Re: Cutting on curved polymesh?!
@origin hehe yeah i though so from the start :D, anyway i am looking to find a good solution to work with as its kind of strange that xsi doesnt make "perfect" holes or cut into a mesh from scratch... @gaboraa would you mind show a print screen of the sphere without subd? i find strange th...

Re: Cutting on curved polymesh?!
your mesh is straight, mine is a cylindrical, if you could have same clean mesh with a curved object i wouldnt mind to see a wireframe to see were i missed the point, cause the mesh i did should have a clean topology already...

Cutting on curved polymesh?!
Hello i am trying to cut a cubic hole into a cylinder (polymesh) that i am subdividing, i am not using boolean operations, but cutting out the portion i want and then add edges, i am try with smooth edge and so on, but the curve of the cylinder brake creating a crease in the mesh, plus the hole have...

Re: Distortion in the uv when subdividing
preciselly! there isnt any workaround that problem which doesnt involve adding edge loop near the corners? that workaround doesnt seems to work allways as it change the edge of the mesh

Hello all,
that thing im sure as come up already but for some reasons cant find anything about it, how i can avoid distorted uv when subdiving a geometry?
i tried different methodes but none seems giving me 100% working uv.
Thanks

Re: ROSE RIGGING
i should try that way then cause any solution as provide not enough quality and control at the same time, i forgot to mention i used momentum too
Thanks for the tips, if anything else comes up i would be more then glad to hear it.

Re: ROSE RIGGING
believe it or not i have tried with syflex too, but even syflex (with a mimic) seems to not give the type of controll i need, the stem for example, bounce like crazy all over the place as soon as you start moving it, due to the natural spring of syflex. i would need something who can keep better the...

Re: ROSE RIGGING
unfortunatly mt spring doesnt consider collisions and secondly mt spring doesnt give that "fluffy" look i am after for the petals and its almost uncontrollable.
