Re: New baEssential Shader version
Yeah sure. I'm emitting points from a grid that has turbulize mesh on it. Then using those points to populate a empty polymesh with spheres. Then emitting the clouds from those spheres. I need to modulate the scale of the spheres so the clouds don't end up like cotton balls. Still in look dev so ver...

Re: New baEssential Shader version
Hopefully someone can help me here. I seem to be getting some sort of NAN error on my renders. I get more errors when weaker machines render the same scene. But my memory never maxes out. Any thoughts?

Re: Kristinka Hair 3.0 released
Hey Mathaeus, Can I ask you about fur vector by null? I have been creating my null vector field and constraining the nulls to the mesh for animation. Now I have an animation where nulls cross over each other and the influence gets effected. Is there a way to bake or set initial state for vector fiel...

Thanks! I am still trying to render this new lipsync out. But our farm has been busy for the last week straight. I hope to get it out soon.

Re: FaceRobot head test
Thanks for the critique McNistor. I used KristinKA for the hair and Arnold for my render.

Re: FaceRobot head test
McNistor - I basically just cached out the lip sync animation, then built my own facial rig. Then applied the point cache, and animated around that. Here is an image of my rig: http://www.christopher-mccabe.com/forums/rig.JPG I slowed down the lip animation so its not so fast. I think it is looking ...

Re: FaceRobot head test
Yeah, im going to have to slow down that lip motion for sure. Breathing will be in my next rig. Did not think of that one. Thanks for the feedback!

FaceRobot head test
Hello everyone, I spent the last few months working on a facerobot head test. I refined over several weeks to get the best solve I possibly could. Then built a facial rig over the top of the FR animation. It's a little wonky but it was a lot of work, and I would like to share my results. Next time I...

Re: Create Polygon Meshes from Instance Shapes
Great compound. Is there any way to export the mesh with UV's?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Tron Siren
Hey, good tip Daniel. I will try tilting that head forward a bit and do a new render. I really enjoy the workflow between XSI and Zbrush since version 4. I no longer have issues with scale and position etc. Everything works together just fine. I may have one tip to share, but this may be known alrea...

Re: Tron Siren
That's a relief. No matter how many calibrations I go through. I still worry that my monitor is to dark.

Re: Tron Siren
Primary software is absolutely Softimage. :) Base model was made in Softimage. Then sent to Zbrush for sculpting. I am using Arnold as my render. So it is very easy to get proper displacement results. I am also using Andreas Bystrom's skin shader mixed with another shader with anisotropic reflection...
