ok. You win, and persuaded me... THXgustavoeb wrote:so you know there is a tool (which are just some quick and nice compounds as you describe) that gives you amazing results, freely distributed and well kept by Amaan and you dont want to install it?
sorry, but it wont get much easier than that

Re: Ocean wave effect
Ok. to be more serious I know aaOcean and just do not want to install it for this quick task, so that is why I asked for quick and nice compounds or any other turbulence solutions you might know of.Pancho wrote:There's something called google which shows you the desired results within the first 5 hits.

Ocean wave effect
Hi, I am trying to make an ocean wave effect by using turbulence nodes, and it is working nicely. Unfortunately It is rather a smooth wave, not like a stormy ocean. Can you share me some ideas of making nice ocean waves with the built in nodes, or some nice little ice compounds I could use? THX Robert

Re: Mixing cloth simulation and hand animation
Thanks SamHowell and Tekano for your help, I tried mixing two animations and one simulation and it looks promising.

Mixing cloth simulation and hand animation
Hi! I have a task to do and collecting ideas for solution. I have a nice wavy silky scarf which comes into picture with a nice bend and lays on the table by a product (colliding with them), then as blown by a small breeze it goes out with nice waves on it. So it should be somewhat snakeish with nice...

Re: Proximity to objects problem
For the sticking of the particles, try: |Get self.emitLocation| -> |Get .pointPosition| -> |Set self.pointPosition| (Oh and ofc time varying has to be switched of in the emitter) Thanks for your reply, I tried it before, but it only works when the weight map is not attached inside the emit from geo...

Proximity to objects problem
Hi! I have a sphere and a grid, and I want to make a proximity weight map on both meshes, but I have Cycle breaking problems when using ice trees on both the grid and the sphere, so it only works for one mesh at the same time. When I connect the second ice tree, it says Cycle breaking, and the icetr...

Re: PolyMesh Duplicator v1.1
Thanks Nassosy for you reply and the compound. It is such a great tool, so as ICE. I am only a newbie, but sucking in ICE info.. Unfortunately I rather thought about the other movie, this one http://vimeo.com/6999806 Can I attach your duplicated objects to another cloud points, just like in the abov...

Re: PolyMesh Duplicator v1.1
Thanks for your great tool!! :ymhug: Is it possible to reproduce this effect with your addon? http://vimeo.com/groups/ice/videos/6999806 http://vimeo.com/groups/ice/videos/6996197 And I would like to make, for instance, random distribution of these spheres, is it possible somehow. Thanks in advance!
