Hi Jon, 2.5.29 does indeed not have the problem, 2.5.30 must be the one where it broke - sadly, it also introduced new proxy architecture and is not backwards compatible. I'm looking into possibility of rebuiling my scene with re-exports of proxies, hope nothing else has been changed irreversibly.

OK, I've got 2.5.41 (latest) and tested by going back to 2.5.30. I'll try 2.5.25 tomorrow. Thanks!

With or without UV's, with or without shaderball, always instant crash here.

Wow Dude, I managed to miss this too. Outstanding!! (But, wait up, isn't this for this already three years end of line, outdated, what's it called, never heard of, sort of similar to maya, software? You can do 3D with it? But it was crap so AD stopped development wasn't it?)

Hi Paul, it's the first scenario rather than the last. It needs to look as if whoever is in the boat sees the ship coming and decides to move clear to avoid being run over. And a ship at full sail can move pretty fast compared to some guys in a rowing dinghy, so they will tend to do this way ahead, ...
