Very Nice.
I Like the textures. Especially the one on the drivers window.
Which Renderer did you use?

Re: What are you working on?
Well... .. I am happy to use XSI still on a daily basis. I´am still using Version 7.01 for almost everything we need at the advertising and event agency I am working for. Over the last years I worked a lot with Modo and with Houdini and with newer Versions of Soft also .... but still coming back to ...

Re: Used Softimage License
I switched to a new employer in June. They do not have a Softimage License because I am the first 3D-Artist they employ inhouse. So I can flush all my softimage knowledge down the toilet if I can not get hold of a legal copy of Softimage. In the meantime I use Blender, which is not bad but I would p...

Re: Used Softimage License
Thanks Bellsey for looking into it. Very much appreciate it.
So I hope that I read your post right, and that a license transfer should be possible if all requirements are met. These are indeed good news and I think that there will be a lot of licenses availabe over the next 24 months.

Re: Used Softimage License
This would be nice Bellsey if you could look into it. Strictly from the law and EU court perspective it is pretty clear since 2012, that when a company is selling software, they from this point on loose their right to dictate further usage or deny reselling etc. All relevant parts of the EULA are in...

Re: Used Softimage License
Thanks Bullit,
good to hear that I was right. Somewhere in September I will go fishing for a License and hope someone will sell his.
I just switched the employer and they want me to be happy (and fast in my work). Having Softimage again at my hands will guaranty both.

Re: Used Softimage License
This is exactly what I thought, but as far as I know law in Germany (and most of the EU) is allowing to sell/buy used licenses, even if autodesk in this case will not allow it. Anybody with some first hand experience?

Used Softimage License
Hi there, as it is impossible to buy a new softimage license from Autodesk my question is if it would be possible to buy a "used" one from one who will switch to another software. As far as I know this should be possible in Germany but I am not 100% sure about it. If somebody could share h...

Much better than FBX is that you have Alembic also.MauricioPC wrote:
And you have full export capabilities through FBX (okay, not the best solution), but you may send it to Modo and render there, for example.
