Need help navigating a folder structure
Hi there, Hey I'm having a bit of trouble with this script that should be pretty straight forward but I'm not very good at navigating order structures outside of xsi through scripting. I want to save a file in a directory that is outside of the project and I don't really want to use specific directl...

Hi there,
Just wondering, is there a way to render all outputs easily through soft image composite?
Thanks!
Pete

Re: Can someone help me turbulize these point positions...
Hi Steve! I checked out a bunch of your tutes to try and find the answer but I'm still stumped... The "polymsh" is from creating an empty poly mesh to create the scatter compound in. If you feel like having a look, drag this model into an empty scene. (Can you do that straight from the bro...

Can someone help me turbulize these point positions...
Hi All, I'm just working on a little Ice compound to scatter objects around an intersection with another object, and I wanted to be able to turbulize to original reference points but I keep getting a contextual error :( http://www.naffupdate.com/forumfiles/Screen%20Shot%202014-06-09%20at%204.47.05%2...

Get full scene name and path...
Hi, I'm sorry to ask such a stupid question but how do i get the full path and scene name of the current scene? I'm going around in circles in the help but I can't seem to find anything... At the moment I'm using this to grab the scenes name for later use - var OriginalSceneName = ActiveProject.Acti...

Re: Autodesk retires Softimage
Yeah, I used Softimage to create PocketHalfPipe (and unity). I totally agree with nuverian, and Rez007. I'm going to stick with softimage for as long as possible because it still works great for me. I think next step for me would be Houdini because it seems like a great program with a friendly helpf...

Re: Autodesk retires Softimage
Hey All, I was inspired by the response to the petition for softy so I put a little link on my game's site and made the game free for a couples of days... http://www.pockethalfpipe.com Softy has been awesome while I've been making games and I'll continue to use it for as long as possible whatever th...

Remove All texture projections form an object.
Hi there, Sorry but this is probably a pretty basic script. I'm just not sure how to approach it so I thought I'd ask here for a little help. Just wondering, how would I go about removing any texture projections from an object through scripting?? If anyone could point me in the right direction it'd ...

Having trouble with compound versioning...
Hi there, I have a bunch of objects in my scene with the same compound and I'd like to make it so if I adjust that compound and re-export it, I can have those changes applied to the compounds in the scene. I've read through the Versioning section of the manual but I'm still getting it wrong I think ...
