Re: Blender 2.8 Industry standard keymap

I am waiting for this to go live. Blender 2.8 seems nice and more coherent, but everytime I open up it up it does not last more than 10 minutes before I close it due to it's currently obscured interaction.

I don't understand why can't we use those stuff in DCCs :/
For many projects the quality simply suffice.

Where is the community?

Hello, So I was just wondering where did the community disapeared. There are so far less posts here regarding anything. The fact that AD announced XSI EOL, doesn't really mean that out of a sudden XSI is not production usable or still good. It is and it will be for quite a few years ahead. Software ...

Re: Autodesk retires Softimage

Just to make my statement after EOL look of alternatives Maya: A headache of irelevant, inconsistent tools, tech and workflow scattered all around. One word "INCONSISTENT". Feels like drawing a line using a string instead of a ruler. Max: Certainly more consistent than maya, but smells so ...

Re: Animation Learning (no tech way)

Here is the way I see it as far as DCC softwares go. There are the "more artistic" ones and the "more technical" ones. Technical Friendly Softimage Maya Houdini Artistic Friendly Cinema4D Modo Max (with doubts) A more technical person may feel a bit limited in the opposite catego...

Re: Softimage 2015 missing?

Yep. many maya interlop stuff.

In my deepest of heart, I wish AD EOL max as well. The real reason would only be so that AD gets EOLed after that.

I came here as everyday and read "Autodesk retires Softimage". An immediate thought came to my mind today though...
Autodesk should retire itself
