is it possible to attach strands to an ice particle sim that is using instanced geometry for the particles ? I want to have a strand trailing main particles. I figured it out after some work .. I had to reset my init location at state zero along with various other init props.

Anyway ... its working now =) I think .

1. Krakatoa or FumeFX equivelant particle renderer .. although they are slightly different.
2. More Ice compounds
3. Continued improvement of the Interop with Maya and Flame.
4. Improved Shattering / Destruction system in Ice
5. vRay release
6. Arnold release

Any news on this front ... seems to have stalled out. The only renderer I see doing self shadowing is Mootzoids emRenderPointCloud and I do not think it can obtain the quality of krakatoa or fume.
